After growing up in Brownsville, Texas, Dale Johnson graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in accounting, and then joined the Marine Corps to fulfill his military obligation. Afterwards, he was employed by the state of Texas to audit the accounting records and practices of various state and federal programs. However, as his family grew, Dale realized that the travel required by auditing was keeping him away from home too much, so he decided to start his own business.Following intensive study in irrigation technology and practices, he claimed Texas Irrigator License #179 and started Johnson Sprinklers. Because Dale personally designs and ensures the quality of every job, Johnson Sprinklers is considered by many to be the highest quality irrigation services provider in Texas. In addition to his residential work, Dale is often hired by landscape architects to design irrigation layouts, specify equipment, and draft plans for commercial developments.When he’s not designing and installing irrigation, you may find
Dale doing repair work at the Ronald McDonald House or watching his grandaughter
play on the soccer team he sponsors in Dripping Springs. He also enjoys
scuba diving in the Carribean, skiing in Colorado, and watching UT sports.
